With over two decades of legal experience, Mr. Ralph Guderian has worked for the US Department of Defense, where he both settled and successfully tried a number of cases, including trying a Landmark case before ASBCA (Armed Service Board of Contract Appeals) that was affirmed by the US Court of Appeals. He then joined Ribbeck Law Chartered.
Mr. Guderian earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL, where he received two prestigious American Jurisprudence Awards. Only law students who receive the highest grade in each class section for the various courses offered during their years of law school receive The American Jurisprudence Award (AmJur). He also received a Certificate of Merit for his participation in the Federal Defender Program, a non-profit organization that offers legal defense for the indigent. Mr. Guderian also qualified to serve as an Administrative Law Judge.
As a Finance major, Mr. Guderian earned his MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. He was awarded membership in the Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society in Business Administration. Delta Mu Delta membership is the highest international recognition business students can earn.
In undergraduate studies at DePaul, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting and a minor in Psychology and Management.
Mr. Guderian is licensed in Illinois as an attorney and Certified Public Accountant. He is an active committee member of the Corrections and Sentencing Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Bar Association as well as the Illinois CPA Society. He published an article in the Criminal Justice Newsletter of the Illinois State Bar Association.
