Mrs. Curtz earned her Bachelor Degree in Law and Social Sciences at the University Rafael Landivar in Guatemala, Central America. There she was the Assistant in Chief for the State and Suburbs in the "Compassion Ministries," an Assistant Clerk in the Criminal Sentencing Court, Drug Trafficking and Crimes against the environment and served in the Government of Guatemala.

Mrs. Curtz's studies and specialties also include a Diploma in Special Education from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, a diploma in Human Rights at the University of San Carlos, Guatemala, Graduate of Bachelor of Science and Letters at a Christian College. She is also a qualified teacher in the Western Normal School, Guatemala.

Since 2003, Mrs. Curtz has worked as the Hispanic Community Liaison at Ribbeck Law.
