Sureyya Yigitbasi entered the field of aviation law not by choice but by a tragic event in his life. Mr. Yigitbasi lost both of his parents in the horrific crash of Atlas Jet Flight 4203 on November 30, 2007 in Isparta, Turkey. Mr. Yigitbasi is now part of the Ribbeck Law group. Having gone through the difficult and complicated process of bringing a suit in the United States against a United States company, Mr. Yigitbasi is able to sympathize with the families of similar tragic events. Mr. Yigitbasi, as a former client of Ribbeck Law, enlightens the victims or families of victims in understanding how they can institute legal proceedings in the United States, even though the accident occurred outside the United States and involved parties or corporations which are neither citizens nor residents of the United States.

Mr. Yigitbasi graduated with high honors from the Law Faculty of İstanbul University in Turkey. He is a member of the İstanbul Bar of Attorneys. He currently represents numerous local and international clients, including global corporations.
