John M. Vick spent several years working at the renowned global engineering firm of Sergeant & Lundry. Mr. Vick, as a lawyer and an engineer, brings his expertise to Ribbeck Law in the pursuit of finding the cause of a crash, whether it be through a negligent act or product defect, and in making sure that the responsible parties are brought to justice.   

Accidents involving aircrafts are generally complex, especially when one tries to determine the specific cause or causes of the crash. For such a determination, one must not only be familiar with the different parts of the aircraft involved, but one must possess a keen understanding of the mechanics of the particular type of aircraft involved in the accident. Mr. Vick possesses these very unique skills. 

Mr. Vick is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee where he received his engineering degree with honors, and he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Vick’s extensive experience in mechanical engineering has helped him understand the complexity of products liability cases such as aviation and maritime accidents. Mr. Vick has written numerous articles regarding aviation matters. He is currently working on a book regarding his legal career working on aviation cases.
